JDSG Intensive Laparoscopic Surgery Simulation Workshop
We delve into the complexities and challenges associated with Laparoscopic surgery. We Introduce the major laparoscopic instruments and explore ergonomics , theatre setup and coaxial alignment. The session is designed to tackle the physics of laparoscopic suturing and establish a good foundation before participants are taught how to suture confidently.

Microsurgery workshop for microvascular anastomosis using Sony 4K exoscopes and 10-0 sutures. We have been experimenting with the use of synthetic hydrogels for the printing of vascular phantoms that can be used for simulation training.
